Life Skills

This course spans two semester overlapping both the student's junior and senior year. The junior year course prepares the student for the college application process. From college discovery to essay writing, the students will gain a vast amount of knowledge when it comes to college entrance. HCA wants students to find their college fit, where God wants them to be, and Life Skills is one of the steps in the process. The senior year course covers everyday life skills such as budgeting, etiquette, interviewing, and other tools needed after graduation. Overall, the goal of Life Skills is to provide students with the confidence to act in the role as an educated consumer in the college process and to be a productive well-learned member of society.


Princeton Review SAT Prep

The SAT prep course is an elective that may be taken on-campus during normal school hours. It is taught by Princeton Review trained instructors and covers tips and study methods that are most important in a student's success on the SAT. In addition, the students receive two full-length practice tests. Additional cost of $300.
