Families must agree and sign our written statement of Faith and other foundational statements before enrollment.
We offer both honors classes and dual credit/dual enrollment classes.
Yes. HCA participates in both ACSI and TAPPS academic and fine arts competitions annually.
Our teachers use a variety of resources from both traditional and Christian publishers to provide an exemplary education to our students. As a private school accredited by three different organizations, HCA must declare a standard that guides student learning. Since we are in Texas, HCA has chosen the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) as our baseline standard. Our hope is that we take our students to a deeper level of learning and endeavor to teach all subjects from a Christian Worldview.

All elementary students have a Bible time in their homeroom class and attend a weekly chapel service. Secondary students begin having a formal Bible class as a part of their class schedules, and also attend weekly chapel service. At HCA, Bible classes are considered core classes and must be passed to participate in extracurricular activities. HCA teachers will also incorporate biblical lessons and concepts into their academic lessons and conversations daily.
During a school year, students may participate in many activities including, field trips, chapel services, retreats, various clubs, mission activities, the annual Spring Musical, and others.

100% of HCA Seniors are accepted to multiple colleges, including the college of their choice, and most will be offered scholarships from their choices. Approximately 80% choose to continue their education at a 4-year university. Education after high school is a family decision informed by many factors. Whether or not our students choose a 4-year college, a Junior College, or a trade school does not lessen the fact that they are prepared for whichever direction they choose.
