Positions that we are looking to fill for the 2024-2025 school year:

Elementary Teachers

Seeking a certified elementary teacher who would be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young students. Duties include designing and implementing lesson plans that align with Texas curriculum standards, employing various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and social growth.

Must hold a current state elementary certification.
 

Middle School Math Teacher

Seeking a certified secondary math teacher to play a vital role in cultivating students' curiosity and understanding of math concepts in grades seven through nine. Duties include designing and implementing lesson plans that align with Texas curriculum standards, employing various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills development in a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and social growth.

Must hold a current state secondary math certification to teach 7th and 8th grade Pre-Algebra and Algebra I (for high school credit).
 

Middle School History Teacher

Seeking a certified social studies teacher who will be entrusted with the responsibility of instilling in students a deep understanding and appreciation for history, geography, civics, and culture in grades six through eight. Duties include designing and implementing lesson plans that align with Texas curriculum standards, employing various teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative classroom environment that encourages inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills development in a positive classroom atmosphere conducive to academic and social growth.

Must hold a current state certification to teach 7th and 8th grade history.
 

Middle School Bible Teacher

Seeking a middle school Bible teacher responsible for guiding students on a journey of spiritual exploration and growth through studying biblical texts and Christian principles. Duties include developing and delivering engaging lesson plans that integrate scripture with relevant historical and cultural contexts, fostering a nurturing classroom environment where students feel comfortable discussing faith-related topics, and providing opportunities for reflection and personal connection to biblical teachings. The teacher assesses student understanding through various methods, offers individualized support to address diverse learning needs, and models Christian values through their interactions with students and colleagues.

Required: Degree in Biblical Studies or Theology (e.g. BA in Biblical Studies; MA in Biblical Studies, MA in Christian Education, or MDiv/ThM). 
Preferred: Middle school teaching experience; Holds a current teaching certification (ACSI Bible Specialist or state content certification). 
 

Technology Coordinator

The Technology Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all technology-related matters within HCA, overseeing the integration, maintenance, and utilization of digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences. Duties include collaborating with administrators and faculty to develop technology plans aligned with educational goals, providing training and support to staff and students on hardware, software, and digital platforms, managing the school's network infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with data privacy and security regulations. Additionally, the Technology Coordinator evaluates emerging technologies, recommends equipment and software upgrades, and troubleshoots technical issues as they arise, all while fostering a culture of innovation and digital literacy throughout the school community. Effective communication, project management skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance educational outcomes are essential attributes for success in this role.

Minimum of three years of leadership experience with knowledge and understanding of K-12 educational organization, goals and objectives, policies and procedures, and development of IT services in an educational institution. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, and relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+ and Network+) are a plus.

Acknowledgment and Certification of Understanding and Signature
