Patricia Calmes

Hi! I am Patricia Calmes, and I am so excited to be a part of the awesome staff at HCA. I am teaching 3rd grade. This will be my 21st year teaching at Heritage Christian. I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University. I have been in education for 31 years. I have taught 2nd grade- middle school. I’ve enjoyed every grade level that I have taught, but I think 3rd grade is my very favorite.

I have a wonderful husband, Bryan, who is the hospital administrator for two veterinary clinics. Together we have two amazing children. David is a 2018 HCA graduate. He is a senior at North Texas University. My daughter, Emma graduated from Colorado Christian University this year and is working in her field. We are so proud of both of our children and the care and compassion they have for others. I love spending time with my family. We enjoy camping and hiking together.

I have always had a heart for teaching children. It is a calling the Lord placed on my heart when I was a teenager. I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning and discovery in the classroom and working in partnership with the families of Heritage Christian Academy.
