Katie Wimpee

Hello! I'm Katie Wimpee and I am the new Athletic Trainer. This is my first year at HCA, but fourth year as an athletic trainer. I attended the University of South Carolina for my undergraduate then got my Master of Science in Athletic Training from the University of Texas at Arlington.

I grew up in Fort Worth and moved to Rockwall two years ago for my wonderful husband, Cody. We are expecting our first child, a baby girl, in early January (or late December, God willing). We also have many fur babies - a sweet dog named Bailey, three adorable donkeys and several chickens. In my free time you can find me at a coffee shop, the gym or spending time with family. On a longer break, I will most likely be in Colorado hiking or snowboarding depending on the season!
