Stephanie Lawhorn

Hello! My name is Stephanie Lawhorn, and I’m both honored and blessed to be a part of the Eagle Nest here at HCA. I have been teaching at Heritage Christian Academy since 2020, but I’ve been in education since 2006. I have the pleasure of teaching the Art and Sculpture classes on the secondary campus and look forward to watching my students grow artistically as they progress through the HCA Art Program. As image-bearers of God, THE Creator, we have that same desire to create in our own hearts. My goal as their art teacher is to tap into each child’s creative potential, helping them realize this connection to their Creator and potentially find a passion they didn’t know they had.

Beyond HCA and my teaching career, I have a wonderful husband, David, who I’ve been married to since 2007. We have been blessed with two amazing sons who attend HCA as well. I also work as a professional artist and manage my small business, ‘Inspired by Him Fine Art,’ which I use as a platform to share my stylized glimpses into the beautiful Creation the Lord surrounded us with.

I know God opened the door for my family to come to HCA with a purpose, and I look forward to seeing where He continues to lead us and what He has in store for the Art Program and the families at Heritage Christian Academy! It’s going to be a wonderful year!
