Lt. Randy Jones (Retired THP-DPS)
Began his law enforcement career in 1988 with the Texas Department of Public Safety as a Trooper. Jones is a 2013 graduate of Northwestern University Police Staff and Command College, and a 2015 FBI-LEEDA Trilogy graduate. He has attended numerous conferences and training hours in emergency management, crimes against children, and active shooter prevention and response. He was promoted through the ranks earning experience in major case investigations, natural disasters, internal affairs, and EEO investigations.
Lt. Jones retired from DPS in August 2017 after being offered a position with the City of Fate. While at the City of Fate, he worked on major cases such as arson, sexual assault of children, murder, child pornography, aggravated robbery, online solution of minors, theft, and kidnapping. Lt. Jones instructs various law enforcement classes to include level 3 and 4 private security, and firearms classes. Lt. Jones has done work for Lakehill Preparatory School in Dallas, and Rockwall PD before coming to Heritage Christian Academy in August 2022.
