Dawn Ray

I have been teaching at HCA since 2020.  However, I have taught for many years. I taught Biology at Garland High School for a year, then moved to Istanbul, Turkey where I taught 6-9 grade math and science to missionary kids for 2 years.  Most recently, I have homeschooled our 3 boys over the last 12 years while we were serving in Northern Iraq with an organization called World Orphans. We are excited about starting a new season again in Texas after living in the Middle East for a total of 19 years.

I love working with students and thankful for the opportunity to teach at HCA.  Growing up, I also attended a small Christian school in Fort Worth, then went on to Baylor University.  I appreciate the Biblical worldview that experience afforded me and look forward to passing that on to the students.
