Becky Thompson

Hi! I am Becky Thompson and what a blessing to have been called to be a teacher! I knew from the time I was a sophomore in high school that this was what God called me to do. I have taught several grade levels in my career, but the majority of my years of teaching have been in middle school. I taught for nine years in Amarillo before moving to Rockwall. Once in Rockwall, I taught most of my years at Williams Middle School. I was very fortunate to have been asked to come to Heritage in 2016!

I teach 7th and 8th grade English. I love what I teach and love to share my love of reading, writing, and Jesus with my students. My goal is to develop lifelong readers!

I have a son, a daughter, and two amazing grandchildren. I lost my husband to cancer in 2011 and miss him daily. I love to read, spend time with my grandchildren, listen to the ocean, and learn about law, lawyers, and court.

I am so thankful to be at Heritage Christian Academy, and I am looking forward to what God has planned!
