I love being a part of the HCA family! I previously taught in Rockwall ISD for 21 years before I joined HCA. I have been with Heritage since 2021.

 

I teach English I, English III, and Film as Literature.  I love getting lost in a good book and sharing my passion for the art of writing.  My goal is to challenge, inspire, and equip students to think critically, write with confidence, and collaborate skillfully with each other.

 

I have a husband named Tim (married for over 30 years!); he is my encourager and best friend. We have a daughter named Katrina, and she works full-time at a veterinary clinic. All of us love to travel and have visited some pretty interesting places like Israel, Vietnam, Russia, Romania, and Indonesia. When we’re not traveling, we just like hanging out with friends or relaxing at home.
