Hello, I'm Alan Engle. I have been with HCA since 2017 and serve as Executive Director of Curriculum & Instruction. I bring 30 years of classroom and educational leadership experience to our school and serve the teachers through collaboration in the development and growth of a strong curriculum, classroom instruction based on best practices, authentic assessment of student progress, and a sound professional development program for our faculty and staff.  

My wife, Jennifer, works for an area school district and has been a professional educator and staff development provider for over 30 years. Together, we have three remarkable “young adult” children. Arielle, our oldest, has her M.F.A. in Radio, Television, Video & Film and is currently working in the film and television industry in Atlanta, Georgia. Ian, the middle “child”, is a Senior Associate in the auditing department of a large international accounting firm based in Dallas. Our youngest, Madison, has an advanced degree in behavioral psychology and works in the Emergency Department of a large urban hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
