I am Brian Nevans and I am entering my 11th year at HCA. I teach Algebra 2, Advanced Algebraic Concepts, Quantitative Reasoning, and Dave Ramsey. I also coach football, basketball, and golf. I received my B.S. from Texas Tech University in Exercise Science and my Post Baccalaureate Certification in Secondary Math. I have been teaching at HCA since 2014.
I have a wonderful wife, Alison, who is the Business Development Executive at Trinity Hospice. Together we have 3 boys, who all also attend HCA. Jack is 10th Grade, Braxton is 7th and Samuel is 6th.
I am passionate about teaching young men and women and passionate about the LORD and making him known. I am involved in my church as a deacon and a small group leader, and serve on the greeting and tech teams. I enjoy playing golf, spending time with my wife, being a father to my 3 boys, working on my land, reading books on theology, and everything Texas Tech sports.
